These rental apartments for beneficiaries will have rents of about 4,500 NIS per month. This includes two-room apartments with an area of approximately 50 square meters. With a contract duration of three years with an option for two additional years.

Registration for the 50 apartments lottery at reduced prices for the TLV Gindi project in Tel Aviv will open tomorrow (Monday). Furthermore, registration will remain reserved for singles and couples without children. The municipality of Tel Aviv and its subsidiary Ezra and Bitzaron, which is the executing arm in the housing sector, announced today that registration will be open until August 12.
The criteria for determining eligibility, recommended by the city’s “affordable housing committee,” will include six criteria. Notably:
- not owning an apartment,
- residing in Tel Aviv-Jaffa (for at least three years or for at least four years in the last ten years preceding the cutoff date),
- being under 45 years old,
- Representing a couple without children or being single.
Additionally, candidates must also have a limited income to be eligible for registration.
The municipality of Tel Aviv stated: “Unlike previous lotteries, the municipality of Tel Aviv-Jaffa has defined the population of singles and couples without children as the target audience for the project.”
Mayor Ron Huldai added: “We are the first Israeli authority to place the issue of the cost of living and housing at the forefront of its priorities.”
