Petah Tikva, Ramat Gan, Ramat Hasharon, and Yehud are about to sign roofing agreements with the state for the construction of tens of thousands of apartments in their region. The municipalities also need the construction of roads and the development of public transport infrastructure to cope with the expected burdens.

Four municipalities that for years opposed the expansion of construction in their region have softened and are about to sign agreements to accelerate construction with the state.
First and foremost, the municipality of Petach Tikva, which is supposed to build more than 17,000 apartments, and advanced negotiations are also taking place between the Ministry of Housing, the Israeli land authorities, the Ministry of Finance, and the municipalities of Ramat Gan, Ramat Hasharon, and Yehud.
On its part, the population receives this with mixed feelings. Indeed, even though it will economically develop the cities concerned, there is already talk of awarding the title of the most congested city to Petah Tikva in terms of road traffic…
