Tama 38: Ramat Gan changes its real estate policy

The new municipal guidelines will no longer allow the reinforcement or demolition of specific buildings, except in exceptional cases, and priority will be given to urban renewal projects in complexes.

Ramat Gan, former coordinator of TAMAN, has changed its policy: the municipality published new guidelines at the end of the week, which took effect immediately.

Among other things, priority has been given to projects that can be consolidated, rather than to a specific project, due to the lack of infrastructure in the city.

A request for tama 38 “on a single parcel will be approved exceptionally and for reasons that will be recorded, only if it does not harm the possibility of planning existing or future complexes, review of the city’s financial and budgetary situation. The decision will also be made based on the number of active construction sites in the area.”

The aim is to give more uniformity to the city by renovating blocks rather than allowing the renovation of separate and independent buildings.

This is quite a radical change in that Ramat Gan was a city where requests for tama 38 and other independent renovation projects were numerous.
